love the statue revisited series. its like in your own collection you shouldnt be only interested in the next big release and ignoring all your other statues. i myself am more or less out of space and fine with that. i own at least 50 amazing pieces including infinity studios life size busts, queen studios life size busts, prime one 1/3 scale pieces. sideshow premium format pieces, etc, lots of really cool stuff and i love em all even the very first statue i ever bought and everything in between. so you doing this series of enjoying some of your older, maybe, but still so awesome and so amazing pieces is just so fun to share and enjoy with you. of course there will always be the next new latest and greatest statue reveal but even those will one day be older pieces. so hopefully you collectors out there are getting all the enjoyment you possible can from those in your collections. and thanks again chris for sharing these wonderful and totally relevant pieces with all of us

What is good about these times is that it's quite a buyer's market right now. One can often buy off statues that you could designate as a 'grail' for really good prices. Might help to enable new collectors and keep the engine running. On the other hand, new statue prices of high end companies are often too high, making it impossible for most of the people to afford. Naturally, people will then become more selective of what new statue they purchase, leading to lower sales worldwide.

Life is already hard enough to be pessimistic about statue collecting. At the end of the day this is still a hobby. A hobby is something that should give us joy and hope. A hobby get us through a hectic and stressy day at work. So yes regarding statue collecting I am an optimist ☺️😁

Hey Chris I have a question Can the statues be damaged by direct sunlight?

I've got the 1/4 scale Sideshow Premium Format which is really nice but I wish I had this to go with my two 1/3 scale Prime 1 Arkham Batmans. Prices are through the roof here in Australia so I usually try to find used through Facebook. This is now on my radar. It's awesome.

I refuse to look at sideshow con, hoping no one else does and that they'll return to comic con next year. The first year I finally got in to comic con was the first year they didn't attend. And it's the main reason I wanted to go.

I'm actually in the mood for a new statue, but as long as prices are what they are, my wallet stays put. The studios need to find a solution.

It went up for presale today. I wound up pulling the trigger on it. I don't currently have a joker and even though this isn't 1:4 piece as I normally collect, it's still super cool and I'll find a place for it.

Being a Pessimist serves no useful purpose. It's a waste of thought, time and energy. Always be an optimist. It's far better for the mind and soul.

My biggest problem is space. I just got Prime 1 Studio Robert Pattinson The Batman and Batman Forever Robin. Both 1/3 scale pieces. Now I'm about tapped out on space. So space definitely is my biggest problem. I would have to sell stuff in order to get new pieces and fit them in my collection. Great video as always. I'm trying to follow your example and stay as positive as possible.

Sideshow had a 1/3 scale M. Bison for 50% off ($600). The only reason I didn't buy it is due to space. There are definitely some good deals out there!

I’m optimistic things will turn around. I have to downsize or downgrade my hobby. Not interested in competing but try to find what’s good or grail worth getting. Hope LBS tries 1/4 statues someday.

Just being Positive When things are obviously negati don't think it's the way to go for me. Your average statue nowadays is pretty much a $1000. This is awesome not to mention I have seen other statue collectors and other groups doing the same thing that they have been doing and this community or so on and Bragging about how much money they have 🙄 I feel this hobby is just gonna get worse year after year and sadly The good old days I feel is behind us. I personally feel within the coming years they would sadly be less small statue companies. An nobody will say WHY that is.

Wow, what a great piece. With that said IMO it is grossly overpriced. Should be $500 at the very most. With taxes and shipping, maybe around $600. Mr X recently made a video saying how the middle class is being erased, seems to be that way 😢
